We stayed in Zakynthos for 14 nights and flew out on 2nd July 1999.
While we were in Zakynthos, we somehow managed to make
many new friends! These included the Birmingham Boys (nice rugby
lads!) and a group from Manchester who were staying in the apartments below
us and who we spoke to nearly every night (more like 4o'clock every morning!)!
We also made time in our busy schedules (mainly consisting
of sunbathing!) to go and have a good explore. To assist us of doing
this, we hired out mopeds. Considering the size of them, they did
go at a considerable speed (not that we put them to the test!)! Using
the moped we were not as restricted as the others, and so sped off into
the sunset until we found ourselves in a strange place and so decided to
go home! On our travels, we did find some beautiful parts of the
island, and some nice quiet little places where we could chill out!!
